Don’t want to pull a hammy

So I’ve decided it’d be a good idea to start doing warm up sketches before I draw my comics. So far I think it has been working well to get me loosened up. I’ve been pretty happy with how the actual process of drawing has been going. Sometimes I struggle with the actual drawing and it is incredibly frustrating, so you know, this is a good thing.

I figure if I like what I come up with, I might as well share it with you, since its normally gonna be something different than the comic. So yeah, here’s a mummy I drew the other night.

And I’m back

Sorry I’ve been incommunicado the last week or so, but I was on vacation. Not only was I on vacation, but I was at San Diego Comic Con. I’ve got a lot of pictures and what not, so I’ll be setting up a Flickr account for all that and post a link here once they’re up.

Comments are back!

I seem to have been able to fix the comments. Also, I added some new nav buttons. They’re reversed on the main page, which I’m still working on. Email me if you find anything that’s broken.

Well, crap.

I broke the comments somewhere when I was messing with the site design. I can’t figure out what I did right now, but I’m working on it.

Systematic Greetings

Hey there. I’ve notice a few people trickling over from The System because the impecible Mr. Rosscott was kind enough to include a link with my System In The Wild submission. So to you Systemics who have made the trip, welcome. Make yourself at home. You won’t find immaculately ruled iconography, but I hope you’ll find something you like in this little story of a guy and his imaginary friend. A good place to start is the beginning. And you’re getting in on the ground floor, so you’ll be caught up in no time!

For the few regulars that aren’t familiar with The System, I strongly advise you go check it out. Not only is it a humorous combination of repurposed iconography and life observations, but its also got a murderdog! You can’t beat that kind of deal.
